Find out here about what our school has to offer its students to support their learning and school life.

Our school takes enrolments from students in Year One to Year Six. We offer them these facilities:
- Three classes operate:
- Year 1 students are based in Room One
- Years 2 and 3 students are based in Room Three, and
- Years 4, 5 and 6 students are based in Room Four.
- Average teacher-student ratio is around one teacher to sixteen students.
- Targeted support is provided for students to whom English is their second or other language (ESOL).
- Education for international students is available.
- Our grounds include:
- Large playing field, including a junior "adventure playground" with swings, slides, climbing frames, and so on
- Fenced ball court
- School vegetable garden and orchard
- Library
- A large area of native plants, providing a course for nature walks and cross-country exercise
- Computers in all our classrooms, and in the Library for research.
- Large indoor whanau space for school events, and active time indoors when the weather requires.
Note: The Mäori word 'whanau' literally means 'extended family'. In practice, a whanau also includes people who are close friends of the family.
In terms 1 and 2 of 2011, our fencing was replaced, secure gates installed, and most of the school was repainted.
- Regional Public Health Nurse continues to support our families with school and home visits. This also offers a resource of information on various health needs and issues, and provides support for staff with the teaching and learning of health programmes.
- Pride Lands provides before- and after-school care services from the school for our students, and for children in the wider community.
- Students on the traffic safety patrol and their volunteer supervisors keep us safe while crossing Strathmore Avenue each day.
- A Go Wellington school bus service is available.
We are currently working towards redeveloping the existing swimming pool (which is out of use at present) into a school and community facility. See Community Swim School Project for more details.
Local boys' high school, Scots College, are leasing an area of our school for their music classes, during renovations at their school.
Our school continues to offer assistance to the Afghanistan Community by allowing them to use our available spaces for their language classes for children, and for their meetings and celebrations.

Donations
Our school does not charge fees for enrolment or attendance. However, we request that each family with a child at our school donates $20 per term (or $30 for more than one student). This helps us pay for materials and services not covered by our government funding.
