Our 2010 team of staff

Our school motto is 'Tahi Tatou Tupu'. This Mäori phrase means 'together we learn'.

Specific plans for the future

Commitment to ongoing professional development of our teachers in their teaching of literacy and numeracy, supported by introduction of a new programme in these areas
Improving our school environment by:
- having our school orchard well-established, so that in two years' time our students can pick their own fruit from trees they have planted and tended themselves
- building up our kitchen garden to support the school's focus on healthy eating and self-reliance
- maintaining our native bush walk within the surrounding area of our beautiful grounds
Completing new facilities for our students and our community, including:
- rebuilding our swimming pool into a community swim school, to provide quality swimming lessons free for our students
- obtaining funding for a new senior playground with age-appropriate equipment
