"Coming from a very ordinary, white middle-class background, I love the exposure the school gives my son to languages and cultures different from his. A small class means he gets an excellent formal education, plus as a bonus he's learning how to get along with people who approach life from other angles. Maybe that's why I consider the title 'community school' fits so well." Truis, parent
"Before we set up the health promoting team ‘CLEAN FREAKS' there was a lot of people not putting their rubbish in the bins. We helped clear up the school and helped people put their rubbish in the bins and compost bins. We held a survey on bullying last year because people were bullying one another and since the start of the year there has been no incidences." Sohadi Yes, student health promoting team member, commenting on their team's work in the school |
